I think the IDF can do better at avoiding civilian casualties to some degree..but it is nearly impossible to deal with Hamas the way things are. Hamas is imbedded within the civilian population. The IDF must destroy Hamas or they will have to face more Oct 7 type of attacks (killing civilians not as collateral damage but as the primary goal). Hamas and other groups have sworn for decades to wipe Israel off the map. The leaked document, first reported in Israeli media, was compiled by an Israeli government research agency known as the Intelligence Ministry and was dated Oct. 13 — six days after Hamas led deadly attacks on Israel and the Israeli government declared war against the Palestinian militant group, which controls Gaza.
