Can I get a show of hands for any of us that have taken a Dr ordered MRI but did not know why we were taking it? And then later bragged that it is conclusive proof that we are in perfect health?
Anyone?
Bueller?
I'm sitting here laughing thinking about people pointing out that Trump talks with great pride about passing a senility test like it was an IQ test !!!
I wonder how many pages the book of Trumps presidential fucq ups would be?
Your post transported me to the time when Covid was starting to rage and Trump said he didn’t want the Cruise ships to come to port because it would make his Covid numbers look bad. And therefore reflect bad on himself.
Stop the testing!
Still can’t believe people put that guy back in office.
Trump: "For 1,000 years, communism has not worked"
When has it worked? I thought Russia was your enemy?
Trump on Communist Xi Jinping: “He’s a great leader of a great country.”
(this is the part where you reply that Trump is saying what he needs to in order to get what he wants out of China, but the reality is he actually loves and jealous of the near limitless authority the Chinese premier wields and the endless adulation Xi enjoys from his people)
By the way, I don’t think communism is a viable system if the goal is long term prosperity, which is why all the communist countries today (except North Korea) have moved towards capitalism. But the main point here is Trump somehow thinking that an economic theory that was created in the 19th Century has been around for 1000 years. He’s a total buffoon.
I recently heard an audio clip of Trump in his first term followed by a recent one. The intent was to contrast policy stances, but the verbal contrast was unmistakable. He is slower, less energetic, less clear now. He always said controversial and polarizing things. However, now he very often goes on angry old man rants that make no sense and are riddled with obvious misunderstandings of reality. It doesn’t seem to have much effect on his base, but the swing voters are noticing.
Post some receipts. I wanted Biden to bow out in 2022.
Nearly everyone of you libs were making excuses, "it's a stutter, he's firing on all cylinders, he's fine, etc..." Especially, Silly Willy.
Sleepy Joe already lost his marbles during the 2020 campaign.
If you believe that was wrong, why are you now defending Trump's obvious physical and mental decline? He is clearly not the one making decisions because he can't answer basic questions about policy, what his executive orders mean, who he pardoned, etc.
Trump was actually a confidential informant on the Epstein case. Johnsons.
Solicitor General Sauer is a brilliant appellate lawyer, but I think even he had a hard time convincing himself that a tariff is not a tax and that tariffs, despite what his whacko boss says, are somehow NOT revenue generating. Good grief with this stuff.
Surprisingly missing from today's SCOTUS events were any discussions of the enormous harm to American businesses from Trump's tariffs. MAGAs probably have it in their head that the tariff challenge is by some lazy Mexican immigrant guy who paid too much for a wedding cake, but the cases were filed by a dozen or so American small businesses several of which say they can't stay in business if they huge tariffs continue much longer. There are many real and direct victims of this commie tariff sh!t, and it's not just absorbed by the affected business and/or passed on marco-scale to American consumers or back to the foreign countries (which Sauer tried to say). It's directly fvcking over American business as we speak.
All the Justices, except Alito (of course), seemed pretty skeptical about whether Congress would ever wholesale delegate the tax power to the President, with no way to get it back (and for no apparent reason - country-destroying trade deficits? GTFO). I think anyone who reads the briefs would be skeptical too. And what I don't get is why anyone, even the lowliest MAGA around here, would actually want such massive tax power in the Presidency? You got to be nuts, or incredibly ignorant of how things work.
Not when you have all of the media and half the country covering it up.
The media is covering up what? My advocation of Biden’s mental faculties?
Gary is arguing that myself and most lefties here were saying that Biden was ok upstairs right through the first debate. I only speak for myself but I made no such claim. I will claim that a completely brain dead Biden would have been a million times better than this crap that’s occupying the White House. But Biden should have bowed out in 2022 giving plenty of time for a genuine primary.

The problem Trump has with SCOTUS on the tariffs is that the SCOTUS is bought and paid for by big Koch brothers type business donors that don’t like tariffs. It will be interesting to see which influence prevails.
