Today in 2020, the Trump campaign began begging for donations to fight the election results in court. But the fine print on the donation page said the money would help pay off Trump's campaign debt. Trump took all the money for himself.

Also, around this same time Steve Bannon ran his build the wall MAGA fund raiser that ripped off Trumps followers. Trump would later pardon Bannon for ripping off his people. Trump wasn’t angry that Bannon was thieving from his base. He was mad that Bannon was taking his action.

Both are still celebrated as hero’s fighting for them among MAGA.

It sure is fun to think that we MIGHT get to watch, FINALLY, the limits of Trumpism. He lies about everything, and 30-45% of the country swallows it. That appears to apply to EVERYTHING one might lie about. But if there's ONE exception to that, it might be prices. Call me silly, but that might FINALLY be the thing to turn more than a dozen idiots against him in the coming months and years.

If you (assuming SNAP recipients vote exactly the same way as their overall group, which probably isn't the case - they're more female (55.4%) and poorer so more likely to be Democrat) take the average partisan split from 2024 and then weight it:

Dem: 35.4 * 0.42 + 25.7 * 0.86 + 15.6 * 0.51 + 3.9 * .55 = 47.071%
Rep: 35.4 * .57 + 25.7 * .13 + 15.6 * .46 + 3.9 * .4 = 32.255%
