Yes, the Republicans will nominate for president a guy who even some conservative legal scholars consider an insurrectionist and therefore not eligible for office. Totally normal political party.
Hey! More pictures of urban weirdos would balance all this out! Come on - keep up, 'conservatives!'
A left-leaning legal watchdog on Wednesday filed suit in Denver demanding that Trump be excluded from Colorado’s primary ballot, the first of an expected barrage of challenges, petitions and lawsuits seeking to disqualify the former president across the electoral map. And in recent days, state officials responsible for running elections in Michigan and New Hampshire say they are examining the 14th Amendment’s potential as a barrier to Trump.
Under the spotlight is Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which disqualifies from public office those who swore to defend the Constitution and then “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the U.S. or aided its enemies. Lawmakers drafted the section during Reconstruction to prevent Confederates who rose up in arms against the Union from seizing back power through the ballot box.
Having a large number of DJT fans in my family, I feel qualified to answer these questions:
Get rid of healthcare? Yes--at least for the undeserving. (You know: THEM.)
Gut civil rights? Yes. Period. Absolutely.
Get rid of green energy? Yes, because--like those other things--"green energy" represents change, and they hate the idea of change. "I just want things the way they were," they say--as they read and comment on a site like this with their computers and cell phones...
The poorly named Affordable Care Act made health care far more expensive for those who actually see the full cost of premiums (why is it that Dems mislabel bills? The American Rescue Plan created massive inflation and the Inflation Reduction Act did nothing to combat inflation). Civil rights or civil privileges? It gave preferential treatment based upon race and was never intended to be permanent. Nobody wants discrimination. If you want to address structural racism, one of the best places to start would be taking a close look at the construction trade unions that Dems are so keen to write legislation for. They were originally formed to prevent immigrants and minorities from jobs in the trades and have been staying true to that mission in modern times by and large. As far as green energy, we are fine with it so long as it is cost competitive. The issue with the path Biden is pursuing is he is pushing legislation where the replacement technology doesn’t already exist. He’s doing this in electricity and he is doing it in transport which is driving inflation and will exacerbate inflation in the future.
What does the family of the female vet killed on 1/6 have to say?
That's a good point, Newman. The families of all the Capitol rioters despise the cops, but I've never seen any of them get consulted by the liberal media for their opinion on blue law enforcement. It doesn't fit the elite narrative that permeates our faculties.

Yep, Democrats fear the result of a free and fair election, thus they are pursuing election interference prior to the actual election in the form of frivolous indictments, questionable legal cases and changing statute of limitations for the sole purpose of defaming the individual that poses the greatest threat to their hold on power. Communists would be proud. Biden may soon lock up his adversary just as Putin locked up his.
F'ing liberals are praising that traitor Fani Willis for attacking Jim Jordan in refusing her supeena. I hope she ignores this summons by Congress and gets thrown in jail like Navarro. She is worse than Hillary and AOC.
