I’d be pretty happy with a 2:40-39 based on how things have been going.
Be pretty tired of making it year 3 of being stuck at 2:44.

That was hot. Took a shot and paid the price after mile 8.
You can have everything almost go right in a build but everything go wrong in a race. I’ll keep trying to see where my limits are, but that’s by myself now.
This thread has been awesome, and I’d never think to go from a senior in college signing up on a whim to run 3:17 to becoming a manager in my field and run 2:44. 5 years goes fast.
To myself, good job man. You cared about something and let it change your life. To anyone else, let running and whatever you love be the thing that keeps you going while you grow up. You’ll never regret it.
Good job to anyone who raced, who will race, and has raced and somehow stumbled on this 5 year log. I’m gonna go solo, continue marathoning, and get married now. Thread done.
It's funny how the few comments mixed in this thread are all hate. This thread should be every letsrunner's dream. Five years of success in life with fun and fulfilling running; what more could any of us ask for.
