The banned books relate to porn in the libraries.
The "history" books weren't banned they were excluded by the curriculum chosen by the state.

It has been said many times but it is worth repeating today. Donald J Trump is not the problem, he is just the symptom. The problem is the right wing base. Trump just allowed them to be A-holes out in the open and feel good about it.
Today in Iowa Ron Desantis was heckled and called names and sworn at. He could not speak because Trumpers drowned him out. Regardless of your opinion of Desantis, This never happened before Trump. Trump has lowered the bar and will continue to lower the bar as he and his coconspirators advocate fighting by force to get back into office. (And stay out of jail)
They love Trump because he is an A-hole to other people and they are A-holes and like to see it.
