Any speculation on what would happen if someone who has been training with more volume (about 90 miles a week) for the past year or so on a more "traditional" training plan--mix of very easy, tempo, and high intensity--were to reduce the overall volume and move to a norwegian singles method? Has anyone done this?
I've had an increase in my work hours recently, and trying to fit in the 12+ hours a week of training that I've been doing is getting exhausting. Wondering if I'd be better off with a norwegian singles style schedule or if the reduction in volume would be hard to overcome.
