Kyle Chandler is a good coach and a great person!

Cornerstone University in Michigan (Naia) promotes both assistants to interim head coaches. What happened to the previous coach!? Had been there along time. Odd timing for him to be gone. Not on website anymore and no mention of him in their write up.
Isn’t Kyle Chandler a football coach?
Sorry, meant to put this in bold:
Lehman College in the Bronx, a Div. 3 member of the CUNY conference, has a spot for one or maybe two part-time assistants. (A clean New York driver's license is a big plus.)[/quote]
What’s taking so long at Stanford?!?!?!?

I am a D1 coach so I’ll respond since that typical jab you’re throwing wont apply to me, but it has. I’ve been told 3 times in my coaching career when I didn’t get a job, that I was what they wanted and the most qualified candidate, but they had to hire a women for the position. If you don’t think this trend is on the upswing you’re clearly in denial. I do not feel bad for men because we corner this market, but I feel bad for the experience women who deserves these jobs who are getting a bad rep because many of their inexperienced peers are also getting the same job they’re getting. I would hope if a job comes down to two women that the more experienced one gets the job and not the eye candy yes women who won’t bring much to the table for the program.
He is hiring six people to his staff, the most important probably being the director of operations. While also moving across the country, he's probably making sure he has the right people.

Heard another inexperienced female is getting the head gig at western Michigan. I believe she was the assistant at tenn tech for 2 years. Where’s the dues paid guy again? There must be like a conversion rate or something we are all missing.
Wahhhh, Wahhh! We should build a wall and keep all the women out of our sad little existences.
Time to change Mustanky's diaper. He's sitting in his own stench.
Did I miss the UCSB and UC Irvine hires?? Who did they pick??
It happens let it go wrote:

I guess that's what happens when you actively exclude women from certain professions. The pendulum swings in the other direction at some point in time and knocks down the old guard in it's wake.
Let's save the self-pity for the political threads and focus back on the JOBS, mmkay?
Got asked to step down a few weeks ago. Had a good program that competed nationally each year. Alumni are upset and you may never know why he got asked to step down….
If JJ doesn't hire a great Director of Operations then he is screwed. Stanford puts on some high level meets, and JJ is in serious need of someone who can control that part of the program. Jess Riden, who did it previously did a fantastic job dealing with all the ego associated with their home meets. JJ doesn't have the personality for this type of situation.

Director of Ops is the least important worry for JJ. Who is going coach these athletes is 100 times more important than whether the team is staying at the Hilton or Hyatt. Get real!!
