I'm a Brit, and as sure as I can be that Farah is clean.

Thrilled he got nailed but wish there was more found. He broke the rules and he needs to be banned.

However, it feels a little empty with zero new information.

I’d think this may be just the beginning of it though.

In that case the Guardian report, which has taken the quote from the USADA report, is also wrong and they, too, are "one stupid sonavab*tch". Except no one is saying that. Except jerks like you. The words used above are those of the USADA and are unequivocal, as is the sanction. I appreciate that a sub-normal intelligence like yours doesn't grasp what this means. This is a sad day. Not because I care for those involved but it just proves that to compete at almost any level nowadays one has to dope. If anyone here thinks this ends with NOP group and pro runners well then...

You all need to learn to read. He only doped his son and Magness. All what he did with his athletes was legal.

Wrong. In a statement the USADA has said Salazar had been “orchestrating and facilitating prohibited doping conduct” while head coach of the Nike Oregon Project. That makes it clear what he did wasn't legal.

In July 2009, after Salazar had conducted an experiment rubbing testosterone in the form of Androgel on his son to determine how much would trigger a positive test, Brown emailed Nike CEO Mark Parker to inform him of the results. Parker responded with the following message:

“Jeff, Thanks for the update on the tests. It will be interesting to determine the minimal amount of topical male hormone required to create a positive test. Are there other topical hormones that would create more dramatic results . . . or other substances that would accelerate the rate of absorption into the body?”

Why would the CEO of Nike be involved with this? Very unusual to say the least.

This is the quote on the letsrun.com article... couple of things. Nike is a massive business, yet a Doctor from NOP can e-mail the CEO directly, and the CEO replies like this.... this is absolutely mental. There is no danger normal employees can e-mail the CEO and have friendly conversations. People that have been there 15-20 years may not have even spoke to him but here is a back and forth e-mail about testosterone dipping between a CEO and the NOP Doctor. This is nuts....

Mark Parker the CEO is fully complicit.

You also don't know the extent that Nike dictated the outcome here. It's very possible that the deal AS cut was to accept this 4-year ban and that the language would be carefully crafted by Nike lawyers so no real athletes would be implicated. It's truly implausible that a non-doctor was injecting controlled substances into his children and colleague just to fulfill his noble interests in how the body metabolizes substances. The local OR DA office better open up an investigation because this is a blatant base of someone practicing medicine without a medical license.
