I'm a loser anyways, always have been. I'm finely learning to admit it. Oh well. Carry on mates.
I don't have grand children but I am with my original wife and have kids. It would be abusive to them to kill myself. That's why suicide used to be terrible sin, I guess. Gradually it got to where you could have a Christian burial and make it to heaven. I don't believe in that but, I don't believe in feeling sorry for people who have children and commit suicide.
Killing himself was much worse for the people he worked with and coached then the cheating was. What a horrible example to set for the XC team that he supposedly love to mentor to better standards. The way we handle suicide . We have somehow made it such an O.k. thing to do, no wonder it's so popular. I have coached kids , and I would never want them to have to answer that I killed myself when someone says , what happened to coach so and so. It's worse when someone is supposedly a great guy , what hope is there for someone less popular and of low achievement? Here is my legacy , I leave you all demoralized.
People should know that these acts are cruel. Leaves the family to either say, look what he did to us, or make him out to be a saint pushed by cyber bullies. Evidently he was happy to leave his family with a lie too and they feel like to honor him they have to perpetuate it. . I hope he left his wife a love note or something like that.

Couldn’t agree more.
Meza obviously had deep psychological problems. The exposure pushed the issue of his behavior, but did not cause his behavior. The family was distraught, hopefully they can come to grips with the figure in their life was deeply disturbed.

The fact that Tina Meza refuses to accept that Frank was a lying cheater and is advocating for a new law to be created doesn't warrant that discussion about this continue? If you don't want to discuss this, move along. Some of us feel this is still relevant. The fact that Frank killed himself doesn't erase his history of cheating.

It’s perfectly normal to pay for an obituary that contains all the info that you want people to remember. Someone saved several dollars by not doing so.

Frank Meza had an easy way out to say that it was all a game or a test to see how long he could do it without getting caught. Like you, Frank didn't think of using that easy way out.
