Off topic... but does anyone know why Sarah Sellers, third place finisher at Boston 2 years back and 2:31 marathon at Chicago in Oct. 2019 isn't competing at the Trials. Assume injury?

How do you know she's out? She's still listed as "declared" on the USATF website.

I was never elite--my biggest accomplishment was qualifying for NCAAs as an individual in XC and my track times the seasons before and after that XC season don't really align with where I placed at XC regionals and NCAAS. I was diagnosed with a variation of chronic fatigue in between indoor and outdoor my last year of eligibility--it's been close to ten years and I still don't feel entirely normal. I went to college in a third-tier city and I haven't been able to find the same quality of sports medicine in the major city I live in now and most doctors I've seen post-college just write off my symptoms as aging. I have to eat super clean, drink a lot of coffee, and be on a very regimented exercise schedule to not feel like crap all the time and since I can't seem to get back into decent shape I have pretty low motivation to exercise until something stops zipping.
In the back half of college, I was actually super fit for the first time in my life. I was confused/shocked that workouts and races were actually fun. For so long the only thing I really enjoyed about intervals, tempos, etc, and races was the feeling of accomplishment/relief once it was over. Like maybe the psychotic level of drive I had back then is clouding my memories but I remember being so enamored with exercising that I'd be like hmm I have an hour to kill I could read a book but I'm just going to go do more planks and actually being super into doing planks. And having to talk myself out of going for another run.
