Why are Division I qualifying times for scholarships so much easier for women?

    My solutions to title 9 is:

    Each men's sport must be paired with a women's sport. Scholarship money must be equal between the two.

    Men's XC -> Women's XC

    Baseball -> Softball

    Basketball -> Basketball

    Volleyball -> Wrestling

    Football -> Gymnastics (i dont know)

    Then additionally the count of all men in sports should be less than or equal to the count of all women participating in sports.

    This solves the football problem but maintains equality.

    I agreed women only have to run 4:50s to get a full ride. I am a 4:35 male and couldn't get on any teams. Women sports shouldn't be funded. They are only nice to look at and therefore not worth the money....
