Official road race results don’t use tenths, only full seconds. I agree that I would like to see the results to the tenth somewhere on the event website (maybe when you click into an individual to get his/her detailed results info), but this is far from an incomprehensible decision.
Why are times not to the hundredth of a second? The course accuracy doesn't justify it?

Like Jenny Nick knows every inch of this course, experience does get its due.
This is at least the 2nd time he ran 5th Ave (finished way back last years as well) and has won a road mile in Hawaii a few times.
Not that fit? Didn't he run a 5k pr a few weeks ago? If he has yet ANOTHER injury maybe time to search out a new coach instead one who has him run 1 race then gets him injured before his next

I think he means that he feels relevant again at the highest level. This race helped him believe that he can contend in the 1500 final.

He's got to make it to another final in order to contend. He wasn't able to get the standard to even go to Doha this year.

Joe Bosshard only wears New Balance. Adam & Colt Goucher have been seen rocking Skechers and Altra. At least they aren't wearing Fila at this point!
As for the Ohio girl who studied at Oregon and Arkansas, she's certainly no worse than any other gear-only sponsored elite runners out there. Can't be easy to feel as if her own running is stagnant while supporting a partner who is very much ascending. No need to slag her, most men here never broke 4:45 in the mile.
Must be a nice contract. Most live in boyfriends or husbands don’t get the race kit, elite training and invited runner status . I thought maybe they both had contacts and GF was injured because I don’t remember her as an elite in college.

I'm never surprised at the willful ignorance exhibited here. Mission AC has no footwear sponsor, at present. Unless you've seen the receipts for yourself then you don't know whether her money, Nikki's money, or sponsor money paid for the trip. Her college PR would be enough to be accepted into the elite field. I couldn't tell you whether either wears contact lenses, certainly.
