When he moves down the back, and puts himself in contention, he is a little to rollicky . It adds a bit more stress to his body, is a bit more jarring, drops his hips, and it makes it harder to get into the gear he wants. It doesn't help when Amos steps out just as he is bringing it again. I suspect at that stage he was little too strength focused and was striding a little too long.
