Sure she medaled in 2007, but you aren't bright enough to do your homework. With the field in the Olympics less than one year later she got NO WHERE near that place and she PR'd. The field in Osaka was very weak compared to the field in Beijing. Unfortunately only people who truly follow the sport understand why she medaled and then got beat by MANY more runners in 2008. Next time, do your homework.
If you knew that from following the sport so closely you should have medaled against that very weak field too. Oh wait.....
Medaling at WCs is impressive regardless of the year. No, she isn't a GOAT but she is still better than the top .01 % of runners.
You missed his/her point. It has zero to do with being in the top whatever percent of runners. The field in the World Championships, compared to the Olympics was weak, which is why she medaled. I looked it up.
She set a personal best in '08 and did not come close to medaling. The poster, he or she, has nothing to do with them medaling or it being a weak field, that's a 2nd grade answer at best. Grow up and discuss things like adults, are you like 10?
