No idea what those guys would be feuding about, but I'll share something I learned recently from a Roman colleague. We were discussing the unkempt state of the city of Rome (for a modern world class city, it's got to be the least well cared for; it's dumpy and dirty everywhere). I speculated that it had to be due to one or more of incompetence, ambivalence or corruption. He countered with a simple truth... his approximate words were, "you know, us Italians, we're not famous for our honesty..." It was a simple and yet profound statement that gave me new insight into Italian culture.

epo does more than blood boost, it aids recover like non other.

you're talkig huge advantages in keeping it together and doing a massive training block.

all told, epo is good for 1 to 2 seconds per lap depending on the res ponder, which means a 4 minute miler will go 352 ish.

take into consideration drafting, shoes and tracks, you're not talking much of an advance from snell and ryun today, but coe probably being blood doped at the most and no testosterone nor epo, and perhaps the rest of the brits, that represents the pinnacle, throw in a couple of clean aftrcans probably, who knows..

I have never heard of this guy (virtual unknown in Kenya) so, other than being Kenyan, it’s no big loss and we won’t be losing any sleep. We’re still reeling from the Kiprop case which shook the country to its core. I agree it’s great that dopers are being nabbed which currently, is only happening in Kenya. I fully expect the busts to reduce significantly shortly, if not end completely.

I also don’t expect any more real big names of Kiprop’s calibre because those are currently the most tested athletes in Kenya, if not the world, and with the new AIU policy of transparency, their names would’ve been up by now if they had failed tests. So with the cheats all finally weeded out, and any missed probably already off the sauce spooked by the recent flurry of busts, clean Kenyan elites can finally get back to redeeming the country’s reputation.

Someone said last year, after Jemima Sumgong, that it needed to get worse for it to get better. Even though it didn’t seem like it at the time, the Asbel Kiprop cloud had a silver lining as it gave the country a necessary jolt as none of the previous busts had been household names in Kenya. Whether Kiprop doped or not (many of us Kenyans, for many reasons, have our doubts ) the most painful part of cleaning the sport in Kenya should be behind us. We’ll now have our popcorn ready watching to see if other countries will take the same bold, painful steps and which big names will come crashing down.

You learnt that Rome has a garbage problem because Italians are not honest?

What’s hilarious is almost zero Brits and yanks being busted, implying that no one is cheating in those countries.

Canova has always been one of the dirtiest in the game. Hell, he's an Italian coach living in Kenya. The Italian doctor who got busted as a main source has threw his name out there more than anyone else.

But the Brojos give him royalty status on this site. But why? Does Canova pay the Brojos?

You suppose that all the athletes with negative tests are clean. Bad premise.

The anti-doping system can be cheated for an entire team (think Armstrong and US Postal) or even on a national scale (Russia).

Brits don't dope. They are just highly unfortunate to have an epidemic of severe asthma in their country which has mutated and become contagious among their elite endurance athletes. They have to be treated medically just so they can stand on the starting line in normal health. They have it tougher than most.
