hey, u suck!! how is it selfish he didnt take the spot from anyone, maybe he didnt know that was going to happen, and stfu about money usatf has tons of it and dont tell me if you were a young kid and had the chance to do something like that (a great experience, meet great athletes and free) you would turn it down because you werent sure if you would run fast.. like wtf
He ran in the 15:40’s a couple of weeks ago at US Junior Chanpionships yet he ran sub 14 at nearly two months ago. His performance at U20 Trials is more indicative of his current fitness. If you know you’re in terrible shape, you shouldn’t accept the spot on the team. At the end of the day you’re chosen to be on the team to compete for medal. We’re the United States. We send good athletes to actually do stuff at championship meets. This isn’t the Junior olympics where everyone gets a participation trophy.
lets not pretend that you know his current fitness ok??? like only he knows his current fitness so stop pulling random numbers out of your a$$. you also dont know what played a factor in that race- while im not claiming he was in sub 14 shape their are other factors that could have effected his racing / training.
I believe your critique of soren is unfair, many of the athletes who attended were no where near peak shape, many of the us athletes had started focusing on cross country training, this was evidenced by results. just because they werent necessarily in pr shape doesnt mean they didnt have the right to go. If they qualified then they had every right to go, no need to target soren
I am not soren you can look back for months and see ive been posting under this name stuff that im sure soren wouldnt give a crap about
soren- you are and continue to be a huge inspiration to me. thank you.
