I see no problem with triathletes. Most I know work hard and enjoy what they do, it seems. I don't think that times alone make an athlete in an endurance sport, it goes beyond that to personal gains and accomplishments.
I used to put down people who ran slower than I do when I wasn't very fast. Then I realized that it was more than inane to be so arrogant about qualifying for a state meet, winning a state meet or even placing in the top 20 at footlocker regionals. Time to get over yourselves and just run. I'll see about 5 of you at nationals next year, peace out.
