So I'm suppose to believe that one year after winning the olympics centro leaves Oregon, all but changes coaches, all on a "whim",and this is why he isn't performing well. Sounds like career suicide, why not retire?
First, we do not know the internal mechanics of his decisions. Externally, and perhaps plausibly, Centro felt on top of the world and maybe this super-vitalized his relationship with his father, whom had already, as noted, been involved in Centro's training at least peripherally. He also stated quite colloquial and intelligible reasons in an interview, and in his filmed workout he admitted to enjoying the after-time too much, which likely meant (again, internally) partying, goofing off, traveling, and subconsciously (if we are brazen), he may have felt the apex had been attained, given his surprise win. Who knows why he moved East? You think going East protects him from failing a drug test? If so, that is a reflex. It does not matter where you are, even if you are deep in East Africa training. Finally, we know Centro is frequently tested. So suspicions should seriously decrease.
As for career suicide, I extremely doubt Centro thought being directly and even primarily under his father's would lead to this sharp decline in performances. However, I was also not suggesting that his father's training is the ONLY cause.[/quote]
Centro is tested frequently? Lance was the most tested athlete in professional sports for an entire decade during which he participated in a sophisticated and systematic drug ring.
As for the rest of your post, any info directly from jr is irrelevant given his status as a cheater. He has no credibility. His reasons for relocating, whatever they were, coincided with the release of certain documents implicating him, which says more than his lying little mouth ever will.
