The only 100% guaranteed, works every time it's tried method is abstinence.
And guess what, it's better for the mind and spirit, too. Don't we all know at least a few girls who are devastated after a guy they've had sex with breaks up with them? Especially when the guy is a total jerk and is not worth being devastated over?
Correct Mark, but why was the original abstinence post deleted?
How could anyone have been offended by a post that speaks the truth and requires nothing more than self-respect, restraint and respect for one's partner?
There was nothing vulgar, obscene or questionable in the post.
Sometimes the moderators here leave me shaking my head.
Because this an informative thread about birth control. Not a thread about whether to or not to have sex. If you want to be preachy, their are other threads in which you can be preachy. In fact, this post can be deleted too because I am giving women no good knowledge about birth control.
* any good knowledge
jaguar1,
did you ever try a different pill before Lo-Ovral? Have you experienced any significant side effects on this pill? I'm switching to Lo-Ovral from yasmin this month.
thanks
I'd recommend yasmin- it's no longer banned and when I switched to it from Ortho-Lo I lost 4-5lbs without changing anything else. A friend of mine used the nuva ring and now she's a mom
The best form of birth control IS being a runner. Just run enough and get skinny enough, and you'll never want to get laid.
My doctor told me when asked about it having abortive measures she clearly explained how the pill did that process. I immediatley stopped taking the pill. It basically tricks you body into believing your ovulating.
That is crazy to think your body is being controlled by this pill to operate outside of its every day function. That is why doctors not staying on this longer than 4 to 5 years and switching to other methods. Many women have difficulty getting pregnant after being on the pill. I recommend no pill and find other healthier, safer alternatives.
Difficulty getting pregnant might be true....but there's no fast negative evidence against the pill. In fact, just last year they came out with a study siting women on the pill for years before 40 had a protective effect against some diseases later on and does not carry a cancer risk as previously thought. I forget the details...I'll look for the link. Estrogen is protective for a female. Now, is it going to make you run faster....that's another debate.
