I feel the same. She is free to speak her mind, but she's not investigating salazar, she doesn't have extra evidence, she has no say on any ban. Yes she is piling on to an acusation that has plenty of smoke around it, but she just sounds like a sore looser.

If she has info that would add to the case against Salazar, she should bring that to USADA or WADA. If she thinks some of the "grey area" stuff that NOP does should be considered doping then she should get other athletes together along with some sports medicine experts and petition to have the rules changed.

He certainly did not say "would of". Probably because he paid attention in grade 2.

If Hasay turns out not to be clean, I quit following these drug cheaters.....waste of my time.

When Salazar was competing, he was seen as hard working and driven , very different from the laid back bordering lackadaisical coach he has become.

Please tell me how Desi is 'the boss"? I had high respect for her because she was all action and no talk. Now it's the complete opposite. How many interviews did she claim she was going for the Boston win? Quite a few. How many did Hasay? Zero. The tweet was immature. Save that humor for your texts among friends.

Why do runners have to be "classy"? Why is that so important to some of you these days? They are athletes.They are humans just like you and me. They have feelings and opinions about things and if you can't handle an opinion that doesn't align with yours you need to pop that bubble you're living in. Great competitors are great because they are ruthless and tough as nails, not because they are respectful and decent human beings.

I'm case you didn't notice, the popular sports have trash talk, they have people rubbing others the wrong way. It's fun to see and in the end it's just a sport, so why put these people on a pedestal?

Why would anyone expect an elite athlete to be paid when they are past their expiry date?

Because then the athletes can continue to support the brand in other ways after their athletic careers are over. It is a concept called "good will" in the business world. Many business people consider good will to be the most important ingredient in building a brand.
