He should probably go ahead and move up to the 1500/5k - just think how easy he could jog sub 53" repeat 400s on his way to world records in every distance event. I wish he would stop wasting his time in the silly sprint events!

if you saw how smooth and fluid he was on his 1:43 and his 44.6 you would know all he needed was some competition. i will tell you again and again 43.7ish by worlds if he was to run the 400. i would even go as far as saying if he takes off fast he could do it at nationals and take 2nd.

but what do i know? i only predicted van running a WR at the olympics, and i had all your morons and vent talking sh*t that im an idiot and merrit would win and van would never sniff the WR.

korir can run 43.7 in a 400m. i dont have some moronic calculator to figure this out. i have been in track and field my whole life and i understand and comprehend running. if you run a 44.6 ALONE in april, you will only get faster. wow some people on here are so fu

I agree that Korir is CAPABLE of 43.7, I just don't think he will do so this year, and if his 800 goes where I think it will, he will never focus 100% on the 400. So this will likely forever be an open question. He is much better off as a 44/1:41 guy than a 43.7/1:42 guy.

1:42 might get him 4th if all the players run fast, or worse.

1:41 has only been run by 5 people. so i really cant see him running that fast, i see him as the black Jeremy Wariner. they look very similar in build and stride, very very smooth and fast. like i said korir can drop a 20.5 guarantee, no one who has run 1:41 has ever had that speed
