Makes sense. Probably a butt hurt ultra wannabe who lives next to focus on the family in the springs and voted for Tom Tancredo. Probably took it up the @ss from Cory Gardner
what triggered the snowflake?

Because, again, he's a marketing genius. He took up ultras with a hipster look way before anyone else figured out what was cool about it. Now those of you who are naturally faster runners than he ever was and will be are just jealous 😒 because you can't find ways to make a living in the sport

Yes you are correct, but the athlete has to act like a professional not a pompous ass. Its basic 101 marketing and promotions.
Its unfortunate when they get to a point they think their above the fray.

If he weren't "acting like a professional," then new balance and la sportiva wouldn't pay him ....what do you mean?
Okay, he says he's unimportant but he's delusional. So that means he really is important?
Anton Krupicka...LOL!
Krupicka all philosophical lol
This guy would be waiting tables if it weren't for the love he gets from 10:00/milers.
Haha making it sound like it's some sort of miracle he runs shirtless. It's because majority of his 10:00/mile fans wouldn't take off their shirt if it were 150 degrees out bc they're too fat

He can act however he likes. Again, folks are paying him. Obviously someone approves.
That's said, I can see how he rubs some people the wrong way. Some of the things he has said also run me the wrong way. However, statements can be taken out of context and lose nuance, intent, etc.

I would, but I'm too busy banging supermodels on my yacht.

How much do you guys actually think he makes? You're all getting worked up over nothing. The guy rents a single room in a house and otherwise lives the lifestyle of a dude on welfare. He gets free shoes etc but there is nothing about his lifestyle that anybody else couldn't have if they wanted it. You want to be a bum and every day do the exact same outdoor route, every day, the same thing over and over again - go do it. I think most people would hate to live they way he does. If any of you actually wanted his life, you could have it. The reason you all don't go live the way he does is because it's pretty damn awful. Anyway, I respect the guy. He doesn't want much in life and lives a very simple life without much meaning (as he willingly states) - but he is living the life he wants. That's the important thing. Live the way you want to.

I think you just insulted 75% of the population of the United States.

aka, the fact that this makes center QOD page means that (in boardroom) "they're continuing to buy it so we must follow this trend Q2."

I haven't seen his tats or stash of PBR cans. Nor his 8 kids with 3 women and unpaid child support. So his life isn't exactly like welfare.

No doubt. This dude does not make much. Nobody in trail running does. One bedroom apartment.
Just enough to sustain the lifestyle.
Krupicka, GingerRunner, Jamil Coury et consortes- all great athletes. It's just a fashion show. Fake tan, shaved legs, shoe/hat hoarding, long hair, beards, social media, drones, food pics, coffee, beer, long socks, youtube confessions/therapy, etc. For real trail running check Walmsley.
