NBA players. Height, size, athleticism, skills, everything. These guys can drain half court shots in practice like it's nothing. You've got to see them in person to understand how big that talent gap really is.

I think about the only sport that wouldn't look completely ridiculous is downhill skiing. Sure, your time would be awful and your technique bad, but it's less obvious since it isn't head to head. I'd guess most ski fans are skiers themselves, so it might work out even if there'd be some gruesome crashes.
Here's Kobe playing again a teenage fan. Keep in mind that this kid is probably a halfway decent player against people more his own skill level. Your "average" fan would look even worse.

Have you ever tried to ski one of those courses? Most recreational skiers would be off the course after the first or second gate. However, my vote is for hockey, especially down in the southern venues. How many Miami Panther or Tampa Bay Lightning fans have actually owned skates, never mind the athleticism I wonder?
Out of the major sports, I'd say hockey. At any given NHL game outside of Canada with 15,000 spectators, I'd say only a couple hundred can skate, let alone play hockey,
