It's the PICs responsibility to avoid Wake/Turbulence by going around, executing the MAP, or landing long if feasible. If ATC does not give enough separation it's the PICs responsibility to inform ATC or refuse the landing. Thus, Harrison Ford needs to have his license suspended and undergo additional instruction by a CFI.

He is having some type of cognitive skill problem. That along with reduced motor control, and ability to respond as quickly as he used to. Additional instruction won't fix his aging problem, which is possible for someone approaching the age of 75 like Ford. He is on course to lose driving privileges in the future as well.

No, YOU ARE CONCLUDING that he did not move over because the air turbulence was more than he could bear. A pilot landing a plan and experiencing difficulty has to make a quick decision for safety reasons. Since the final landing crosses over a busy freeway, and occupied buildings before that, he either goes around into air traffic if he can, or he tries to land in a spot he can land safely in. The freeway is not that space. Behind big plane was, for him, not an option.
He is allowed to fly again. So whatever the issue his explanation was accepted.

It's the pilots responsibility to avoid wake/turbulance. The controller is supposed to know his approach speed / separation distance, but if the controller does not give enough space / time, it's the pilot's responsibility to remind the controller, refuse to land, or go around

Agreed. 90 day suspension with remedial training sounds like likely outcome. Probably deserves something more harsh, but doubt faa would do more unless they determined medical or cognitive issue. Anyone know outcomes in similar incidents? Sounds like Ford is skillful enough pilot who had a "stupid" day. Faa threw the book at Bob Hoover and Arthur Godfrey so anything is possible
It costs $100,000 today to get a Commercial Pilots license in real airplanes necessary to fly Drones for Hollywood, Oil Exploration, Construction Projects, Forrest Fires, etc. Hair Boy should have at least leaned what a Taxi Way is ;-)
