Wow, Jesuit Girls of OR really bombed at NXR NW. Was rooting for them to really take a step forward in the post season with their "dream team" of 8 girls under 19 and top 5 all under 18:30. I wonder what happened.

Bozeman guys had 2 in top 20 (1st and 6th), Bozeman girls had 3 in top 20

I'm predicting top 3 for both of them.

Has anyone seen complete results for the NXN Heartland race?

I ask because I notice there are some results missing in the championship race.

At their official site (nxnhl.runnerspace.com), they are missing a TON of results.

At their timing site, they are missing at least the #10 finisher in the boys race (although that might be the only missing result).

Milesplit and Athletic.net both just copy their results from the timing website, so they aren't complete either.

Odd that, days later, they still haven't found that #10 finisher yet in reviewing their finish line camera. Won't make a difference at the national meet since they won't advance to nationals, but still would be nice to have complete results for the regional championship.

Anyone? I'd like to see the complete results as well. Not to impugn anyone's performance, but compared to years past, results I've seen thus far appear suspiciously fast.

I think CBA won't do great at nationals. They have one of the best teams they ever have IMO (5 guys returning under 9:34), but they lack a low stick. For the past 2 years they've had Blaise Ferro. I believe Drake Anzano has been injured or something, because he is a 9:03 guy who is barely in CBA's top 7. I think they have the best overall 1-5, but they lack the low sticks a team needs at nationals.

My sleeper team on the girls side is Lake Braddock. They have a potential national champ in Kate Murphy, and beyond that their team is really strong. It is hard to tell just how strong a team from VA is, because the individuals in VA have always been good, but the teams have always lacked a little. But I think that if Lake Braddock qualifies, they will surprise a number of people.

Joey Defeo of Delbarton will win. He's committed to NAU, and has the potential to break away from the "elite" nike campers. Joey's the name, Defeo is his game. Rumor has it too, that he's hitting it off with Charlotte Corless from Oregon State. I predict at least 14:30. But if he makes the brave decision to run the last 800 on pure hate, he will be at the level Zenesaliasse from NAU is at

While you have some validity to your statement, I highly disagree with most of it...

I predict JOE KIOLBASA of York will win. That's right. You heard it here first. He is not a very big name but trust me, his coach takes good care of him because he's Polish. This Casey Clinger fool ain't got nothing on my boy Joe. BUT, for him to win he must, as previously stated, run the last 800 on PURE HATE, as 800m is all that pure hate can last for. Casey Clinger might have to pull a Mike Rossi if he wants to even have a chance at winning.

And for the team title, I predict that Weed High School of Weed, California will win by a significant margin over American Fork (what kind of name is that anyway?) and Great Oak. American Fork 6th, Great Oak 9th. Winning score: 69. Dan deRoss has really set up a good program at Weed High School, and, in my opinion, 3 of their top 5 could win a NCAA individual title if given the chance

you guys are overlooking bozeman.

One at 9:12, then the rest of the top 5 are within 40 seconds of him for the 3 mile and all having far better than last year when they got 8th. Compare the regional meet this year to theirs last yr

American Fork should win with the guys they have so many top runners

It's really hard to see Principe losing after today but Hirsch and Gessner could both do it because of those 14:39s and Clinger is as good as ever. Should be a very fast race on the individual side, first time in a while i remember thinking that nxn could be stronger than footlocker

Considering York has won 25 State championships on that historic course I'd say they're a pretty deep team having the fastsest 7th man ever. You think???

100%, but how will this impact their NXN national race? If 5, 6, and 7 are in the same pack is essentially a wash.
