What makes anyone think that samples from 2003 or earlier still exist? The storage period is typically 8 years. And with our current anti-doping system, you can be sure that no samples will be kept a day longer. Paula & Kenenisa are completely safe.
Yes. They changed it to 10 years last year in 2015 I think…and then they got some more positives on retesting…and there were the legal challenges that they could not go back 10 years…since the rule at the time the sample was collected was only 8 years…therefore the new positive on retesting after 10 years…"does not count"…just like Paula's 21.88% increase in hemoglobin level in 2 days at the 2003 half-marathon WC…"does not count"…since the ABP did not start until 2009.
Alberto Salazar has broken various federal and state drug laws when he administered the schedule III controlled substance and prescription drug Androgel (testosteone gel) to his two subjects (sons) in his "Galen Rupp might be sabotaged with Androgel (but no other possible sabotage drug) experiments". Alberto Salazar is not a doctor. He sure likes to "play doctor" a lot. He broke the law and should go to jail.
Unfortunately, I think the statute of limitations has run out on Alberto Salazar also. Someone on another thread, last year, said that the statute of limitations in Oregon was only around 3 or 4 years (I can't remember exactly what it was). It looks like Alberto will probably get away with it also.
The only thing I can do is keep posting about Paula and Alberto. I have also sent some of the same information that I post on this forum... to some "official people"...at some regulatory agencies around this planet.
The only thing Paula can lose is her reputation for integrity, honesty, and transparency.
Look at what happened to Mo Farah on twitter.
Look at what happened to Federico Rosa and Claudio Berardelli.
Dr. Martial "Plan B" Saugy is no longer the director of the Lausanne lab.
Dr. Saugy decided to take a new job.
I do not think the timing is a coincidence.
