Speaking of falls...go to about 2:03 into the marathon clock time into the race on NBC's coverage. There is a guy wearing a colorful cycling jersey riding a bike next to the course, waving, etc... Something happens to cause him to slip off the seat straight onto the bar in an awkward/funny fall that had to hurt. Notice it n the background. Hilarious. :-)

They actually have great traction, and are fantastic, super snappy race flats. I know, because I own a pair of them (just 276 made). The also very good Zoom Streak 6 which everyone was wearing (which I also have some of) actually have a little less traction.

The blame should be based on the slick, rain covered paint they had at the finish line. Nothing grips on that.

I know someone who thought he was doing a Shaunae Miller impersonation.

Jared Ward's 6th proves that Meb's spot was totally wasted and that Pennel or Puskedra could have medaled. I don't have proof that Meb's a doper but he is East African and it's likely that there was at least a spontaneous unspoken agreement to give him the 2014 Boston Marathon if not an outright criminal conspiracy to throw the race. We don't understand these peoples or their alien cultures very well but there's no way Keflezighi beat that field in those conditions without cheating and everyone knows it. He either doped or paid Desisa and Kimmeto to take a dive. It's too bad we've let this fraudulent crook become a rich, influencial citizen in the USA. I've seen pictures of his huge, fecund Islamic family, which is going to multiply at our expense, guaranteeing a huge terrorism issue down the road. Don't forget that Bin Laden also came from a wealthy, elite family. All muslims are terrorists and Meb's Sharia family from Eritrea will turn on us eventually. He's not even that good at running so it wasn't worth it. In Rio we needed an actual American without a totally sketchy, blatant doper profile like Puskedra or Pennel, not Eritrean islamofascist "Keflezighi" -- which is a really weird, foreign, un-American name.
