Plus he has more Oly/WC medals than Jager will ever have.
He has four medals I can see Jager getting that many, and two if I was fourth I'd have been happy seeing Kemboi get the bronze and ignored the smallest of infractions possible to be made, or at least tried to earn my medal and not jog around for bronze.
So if Mekhisi was 3rd, stepped on the line, and through protests Jager got Mek DQd and himself bumped to a medal, you'd be criticizing Jager and the US coaches?

Yeah, I haven't noticed any criticism of Torrance on this site. Absolutely none.

Most of us (Americans) aren't anti-french. It's just easy to sit on the anonymous message board and unload the dirty comments. I most of these racist/nationalistic posts provide no benefit to the discussion and it would be great it the Brojos siphoned some of their fund to another moderator to clean up the trash.

I was going to start a similar thread but you beat me to it. When I read he's had actual physical altercations with not one, but TWO mascots, PLUS this whole thing with getting Kemboi disqualified, he just sounds like a complete (insert expletive here).

Just some perspective: Kemobi was disqualified because he broke the rules. Doesn't matter who claimed he did it..

Yes it does. No one else in the field would have bothered to petition for the DQ because the infraction had no tangible effect on the outcome of the race. And Mekhissi certainly wouldn't have petitioned if he had finished in fifth place. Kemboi would have the bronze medal right now if anyone else but a self promoting opportunist had finished behind him.
