My opinion of the swimming festival notwithstanding, does a 19 year old really understand the nuance and complexity of the situation?

I would rather hear an informed, intelligent, and experienced opinion regarding performance enhancements of career athletes.

Makes you wonder about the current doping policies, doesn't it? Why aren't they effective like other 'war on drugs' approaches?!

Oh wait...

So, if the conclusion is "dirty athletes are slower than clean athletes, even with all the banned stuff in their bodies". Why they're doping?

Katinka Hosszú's case is similar to Mo Farah's case. Off the world radar before 2013/2015 (0 -zero- Olympic medals in 04'-08'-12')...changed her coach, and then...boom. Unbeatable, with an unbelievable range.

YES! THIS! No way King is remotely clean. Usually the most vocal about clean sport are the dirty ones. (See: Lance Armstrong, Marion Jones) Calling others out makes them feel better about what they are doing.

I find it interesting that nobody is mentioning Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake, Fraser-Pryce and probably more Jamaicans, all of whom have tested positive for something and all of whom are on the Jamaica Team. And then there are Aden's athletes/Ethiopia, the obviously dirty Kenyans, the just as obviously dirty Turks, and others. Only the Russians are banned.
