With all the doping scandals going on, the dopers will be laying low. Not running anything suspicious. The winning time will be 3:33. I will be back on Friday when I'm proven right to revive this thread and have an honest discussion about the reality of doping.
I think you're probably right, but I'm going to say 3:31.

Pretty gross that Kiprop hasn't been busted yet. Especially with the recent information about Rosa that's come to light.
I actually root for Makh Daddy over Kiprop. Sure, he's loaded too. But at least Makh is kinda humorous. Kiprop is yet another generic doped-up "18 year old" Kenyan turd.
Anyway, winning time: 3:27.
Clean winning time: whatever the first Norwegian runs. 3:32 maybe?
How many generic Kenyan 18 year olds are there? List me all the generic Kenyans who've run under 3:28. I'll help you, he's the 2nd best Kenyan of all time behind Lagat. There's only 3 Kenyans to ever break 3:30. He's genetic machine that has the talent to set the WR. The problem is the WR is held by the biggest doper in the history of the world.
Pretty sure he ran 3000m this year outside. Might have broken an British Record.

You're calling this guy out for being ignorant and you don't even know the difference between their, there, and they're.
Sound it out. "....audience that actually knows what THEY ARE talking about."
Now why would you use "their"?
Kiprop was stuck at 3.30/3.31 for many years, and then boom, sub 3.30 whenever he chooses to.....

This right here. Probably goes in 3:34 though.
In conclusion: get off your high horse. You're a "realist", not a realist. Accept your - our - ignorance.
I particularly appreciated your nuanced view and your conclusion of our ignorance. The truth is that we don't know how many people or cheating or who they are and we probably never will, which is exactly why it's so maddening and also such a fascinating topic.

In recent years, there have been very few fast races after champs and Olympics, so if not before Rio, probably not after.
Unless they are saving themselves for Zurich.

Actually, from a quick scan of the list, it looks like 13 Kenyans have broken 3:30.

Plus like worlds Kamworor would have to do all the work himself and Farah would just hold on until 400 to go. Only way i see Farah losing a 5/10k is if it was a diamond league and they had multiple pacers at close to wr shape. There isnt a bekele or Geb out there to challenge him.
Last year at Worlds, Kam talked up a storm of how he was going to whoop Mo. And although he did push the pace for once to make it a fair tempo he did not live up to what he said he would. However I think Kam is a smart guy and learned from that. He definitely wasn't happy to settle for 2nd. Ideally Kam should go out at WR pace, get his teammates to help him and he breaks Farah and holds on for a time in the 26:30's. I don't think Farah could live with that pace.
What makes you so sure that Mo Farah couldn't handle 26.30 base?? r u Alberto Salazar by any chance ???
There's zero chance Geoffrey Kam was going to run 26:30 that day, it was too hot and sunny. The 27:00 they did run is very impressive.
& Mo Farah still came on the top
R u saying Kam n the crew r gonna run 26.30 in Rio if so what makes u so sure that Mo Farah wouldn't b able 2 go with 'em ??

It was not hot and sunny. It was like 78 or 80 with a breeze. That is not harmful to 10k performance.
Will David Torrence be in this race?
A thread was started on his progression but for some reason it was deleted, even thought LetsRun is supposedly promoting an open discussion on suspicious times, like when they let the "Centro!" thread stand for weeks.

That is just too funny. You've called yourself "grammer", right? If you're going to have a go at someone for their grammAr, at least spell your name correctly.
In any case, it's just petty to pick up that one thing. Look at the content of what Star-burst said and respond to that.

I actually injected Kiprop myself.

That's actually a typical time that's run at diamond league meetings.
