If Grace Ping is in Utah, why did I just see her finish third at the Minnesota state meet last Saturday then.
It is difficult to compare states in cross country. The courses are different. Missouri has a monster hill at the end of their state meet race. You cannot always compare times.
Even in track & field weather and shorter (or longer) growing seasons is a factor. It's harder to train for track & field in MN than in CA.
