Weird. Our two bizarre competitive non-running hobbies collide. I mentioned my hobby was trying to get published in literary journals. I recently published a poem in a literary journal about mushroom hunting. No joke. It's in a small publication based in Michigan. The 3288 Review.

Trolling letsrun has become a fun little hobby for me. It doesn't cost any money, and takes surprisingly little skill or mental energy to be good at it.
Hobby outside of running? Cycling. MTB and road. It is the one athletic activity where I could care less about how fast or fit I am. Which is weird because those athletes usually obsess over it. Built and rebuilt both bikes from scratch and tweak with them often.
Have kids? Go to their games, support them, and then berate the other teams parents. Make fun of the opposing players in order to get a yelling fight going. Then man up and flip them off. My kid is 6 and it's hilarious.

Well usually it's so steep I can't run as I've made it a point to get to the highest point in each state. Only in the east coast so nothing special. I started two summers ago.
I usually just start out walking then I'll break into a sprint then a jog, then run for a minute whatever the terrain allows plus I always have a back pack and boots on.
Cycling. Raced mountain and cyclocross, did road riding for training. The fitness part came easily, but unfortunately I was always a terrible bike handler.
I race my wife to see who "finishes" first--still undefeated after 12 years of marriage. LONG LIVE THE KING!!!

Yes, lol is a very interesting game. I honestly even play in the majority in order to reach the maximum level in the rating. But I still like the skins that they often play.
