I have heard that w/ each % of body fat you lose, you lose that much of a % of your time in your race. This get more skewed when you go into shorter races but is pretty close in 5k-10k races. Im not to sure about marathons.

Just eat some ding dongs and quit this silly running thing. It won't get you anywhere. But a phat check will go a long way to getting the fine ladies and being skinny will get you nowhere.
How do you determine you are three pounds overweight? From my diary:recorded weights, every day for a week, using electronic weighing scales.{in kilograms]. Same time every day.
MON 83.3 [183.25lbs]
TUes 82.9 [182.3lbs]
WED 81.5 [179.3lbs]
THURS 81.7 [179.75lbs]
FRI 82.5 [181.5lbs]
SAT 81.3 [178.85lbs]
SUN 82.0 [180.5lbs]
WEEkly mileage 58miles {93.5kilometres]
Conversion done using 2.2 lbs to the kilo.
So do I use an average for the week to determine correct weight? Average = [82.2kgs] or 180.75lbs.
Sure I am big for a runner but I would think most other runners have a similar weight descrepancy day to day.
I started this thread a few days ago. Since then I have gone down from 131 to 127. My last couple of hard workouts have been great. My morning resting pulse has gone down from 143 to 139. Now I am just maintaining 127. I feel like I am not eating very much but still maintaining weight. Which means that I probably over ate before. Anyway. Yes I do believe that loosing 3 lbs makes a difference. Try it yourself someday. Even us runners overeat. We think that just because we run a lot we can eat as much as we want. Not true.
