I think my brother Weldon deserves props though for being a trendsetter and for having the courage, much like Caitly Jenner, to break through stereotypes and show that running in slacks was socially acceptable.

At the 2013 Moscow Worlds, Weldon first made running in slacks popular by running the Media 800 in slacks, running to a big a victory. Hopefully, Stolzfus keeps up his strong performances as the pressure of being a trendsetter has impacted Weldon negatively as this year he failed to win his heat a shown here:

I am surprised only one person has mentioned it, but it is pretty clear that Leroy is running to avoid masturbation... I am glad his brother in law could set him on the right path.

It looks like he ran in cross-trainers instead of real running shoes. I wonder how much faster he could run in proper running shoes and attire

Not much faster. I have run in all types of outfits including ski pants when it was 80 degrees and a winnie the pooh head. A few seconds per mile at most.

If this race happens, I believe I deserve a spot, maybe even more so than this chap as despite not actually being Amish, I believe I look more Amish than him in the most recent duathlon I did back in September.
