You guys make me chuckle.
Rupp is an all-star. A sub-13 sub-27 guy with an Olympic medal. He will eat True and Hill for lunch. True is a B-list plodder and I don't even know who Hill is.
Rupp was sandbagging at the trials, running just fast enough to make the team. This is the real deal now. To reiterate, Rupp will SLAUGHTER True and Hill.
This is hilarious. Rupp won't even make top 10. He looked terrible in the heats and with 10,000 + 5,000 won't have even his modest kick.
Anyone who thinks Hill is going to beat True hasn't been paying attention. Hill can only beat True when True has a 10,000 in his legs at nationals.
True looked fantastic in heat 1 and wasn't under any stress. He ran a very controlled race. Inside line the whole way, incredible surge at 110 meters out to move up to second, held back to coast in. He looked better than Gebrhiwet who will medal, and Merga looked good too. In H2, Farah was OK but dosen't have his usual kick. Ndiku was all out and won't medal coming off of injury. Kejelcha was strong.
Shocker will be that Farah won't medal. He doesn't have his usual kick right now, and his strenght is sapped from 10000 plus 5000 heat.
True 1st - WORLD MF CHAMPION
Gebrhiwet 2nd
Kejelcha 3rd
Farah 4th
Merga 5th
Hill 6th
Rupp 11th
