I'm in CT. the last few days have been around 84/85
When I am driving to work around 7 AM, it says 66/67 degrees
When I am at work I noticed it is around 69/72 around 8:30 or 9:00
Is everyone forgetting Jordan Hasay? She has to be the heavy favorite if running.
Yea, Temps look like 65 at race start / 62DP and about an hour later 72 / 62DP according to weather.gov
Which will be on the muggy side, but hopefully not unbearable. Been prepping for the heat this summer by scheduling most harder sessions in afternoon. Hope this pays off...
I hope you're right about Jim Spisak. He's a hard worker and a good competitor (one of only five to qualify AND run both the 10k and the 5k at USATF championships). However, his situation is that he has no coach, no agent, no team, no sponsor, and no training partners. Plus he has to work full time to make ends meet. I'm sure there are many other runners who are and have been in this situation. It's a shame. because there are a lot of runners who possibly could have excelled if they had a better situation.

I have seen lines at the porta johns even when they announced the race to start in 2 minutes. More? I know they have tons now.
Start the 5k earlier? Some of the real slow ones get in the way near the finish.

The lead pack has Matt Llano, Scott Baughs, Luke Puskedra, Sean Quigley.

agreed, but Puskedra has no coach or sponsor either, and he seems to be doing ok.
I didn't know that about Puskedra. So what he is doing is awesome and he deserves a lot of credit, because it can't be easy. I wish him well.

I agree with you on the women's side. Tara Erdman is definitely a dark horse because she hasn't raced in a while but I think she has something
Spisak recently joined NE Distance, the group in Rhode Island that has Huddle on it's board.

The other guys in the group do seem to be milers or steeplers but he'll have a dedicated group of runners to live with at least now. Housing, travel expenses, doctors apps and coaching are all covered now.
