Let's look at a few facts.
1. Salazar was suspected of using performance enhancement drugs. He had a very short career.
He ran great from high school, through college, and then 3 years after college. Held AM records at 3 distances, plus world road best. Not exactly a flash in pan.
2. Ran for Athletics West, where athletes have publically admitted to using performance enhancing drugs.
Were Joan Benoit and Pat Porter on drugs? How about Lynn Jennings?
3. Coached Mary Slaney when she failed a drug test.
I'll give you this one as fact, but I bet SHE was on drugs for years.
4. Admitted to using Prozac to salvage career.
So...?
5. Put athletes on perscription medications for no medical basis, but for performance gains.
Says who?
6. Balco. Linked to Dr. Conte. He was on the website the night before the authorities raided his place.
7. Have you ever spoken to the guy? A little loopy.
Run 100+ miles per week isn't exactly condusive to an education.
8. Willing to sacrifice athletes, not for the sport, but for his own personal gain.
And you know this how?
9. Recruits young anorexic girls.
mmmm....
10. The head of Athletics West, Bob Sevene, flies in a rage when the subject of Salazar is broached.
Rage about what? What's the specifics? Sevene flies into a rage about most things.
