JK, yes I do have the answer and I believe it will be highly effective. It begins with the elimination of scholastic sponsored cross country and indoor track programs at the high school level nationwide. The approach I am taking towards getting this accomplished is very realistic. However, I do not want to reveal my plan openly on any message board and give any high school supporters a chance to assemble a response or tactic to fight my proposal before my plan is implemented. Yes, Nice that so much more of the world has caught up, except for the :47 US high schoolers converting to 800m in college, hitting 1:47 and then getting stuck, because they mostly continue to train like 400m runners. We still need to wake up in that regard. Even our guys running 1:44 can't do it when it counts, after a qualifying round or two, can't stay healthy, etc., all because of the missing aerobic foundation.
