if i was working as an announcer along side him, i would question him about it on the air, and have a series of questions for him, if he walked off, i would keep bringing it up during the entire broadcast, with comments like steve hooker apparently does not want to face the music, and repeatedly wondering aloud, if all his athletic achievements were fabricated, and saying things like is steve hooker any more real than the tooth fairy, etc.
if he wants to be a man and come clean on the air, i would back off after the topic has been discussed, less than 10 minutes.
if he walked off and got a lawyer, i would say oh well, he must be guilty otherwise why would he get a lawyer? a lawyer after all is really just a professional lier, making up stories to get guilty people off and/or portray them in the most positive light.
in conclusion steve hooker is probably guilty as hell.
I hope everyone who makes statements which cast shadows over Steve Hooker are aware that he won a gold medal at the Olympics BEFORE he met his wife.

Exactly. This self-described "trackcoach" poster is a nobody, who may indeed be a track coach, but whose knowledge about anything seems to be limited to dirty gym socks.

I guess I should have said this is more of a USADA thing than WADA. Btw, the notifications don't happen a lot, they aren't official, they aren't published and they are not based purely on blood chemistry. In some cases its information that's beyond suspicion; however, does not quite reach the level required for an outright ban. Generally what happens is the athlete is 'asked' to not participate in a national championship during a WC or Olympic year.

Perhaps I should shut up because I am not going to identify myself and/or any athlete I am referring to. And, I will admit that I don't always get it right. However, I am certainly not an idiot; I coached for several decades, many years as a USATF offical, volunteer. meet director and I know several people in Indianapolis and Colorado Springs. With that said, I do try to avoid giving out specifics unless it's ok to do so.
You coached un Colorado Springs during the 70's and 80's? You must be an doping expert, giving the story of USATF meetings in that place.

Having said this, I'm inclined to agree that you're either inhibiting transparency or shooting from the hip if you won't give names, places, companies, etc. when making your claims.

Since I am not going to get into specifics, I will let this discussion go and I probably crossed the line in saying I have a source. What I will say is that after the 2000 relay medal giveback, USATF became keen on making sure no one individual taints a relay. If you recall a world class athlete in their prime getting an injury in training and basically dissappears from the sport.
