About time something got going in LA. The club system in LA sucks, at least compared to the SF area. Somebody who's not a part of farm team LA, get it together and stop Hesch from taking all of your money. May I suggest joining the Fluffy Bunny TC at www.runfluffyrun.com .
what good teams are in the SF area? I am from there, and only know of a few clubs, but none are really that good. i mean, i could've been on them as a high school kid.
Check out pausatf.org for the club rankings. The road and xc grand prix circuits in the pacific association offer up a competetive race almost every weekend this time of year. The reason they're so competetive is the clubs that get folks to continue training after college and on into their 30s, 40s and beyond. The races aren't only good up front, but right on through, at every speed. LA and so many other running scenes around the country have become elites and then team in training types, with nothing in the middle. The clubs in the PA make the comp good all the way through, top to bottom.

Most PA teams don't have entry standards so I guess you could have made them while in High School, but I doubt very much you'd have been in the scoring 5 too often if ever.

Reebok Aggies, Pacific Striders and NB Excelsior have three of the strongest masters squads in the country right now.
