Jenny runs the 1500 in Shanghai along with Uceny and Moser.

Emma runs the Steeple in Shanghai. The best of the world are in the race (except Russians. 13 or 14 Kenyans / Ethiopians.

Can't wait to see is she can hang with that group this year.

Good tune up race for Jenny and Emma. Jenny really did have a lot left at the end and blew the doors off of everyone the last 400 (which looked to be in 60/61). It's scary to think what some of the other runners out there are capable of though after the 8:20 last week (which just reeks of a new PED out there). Guess we will find out in Shanghai. Fortunately they got most of the travel out of the way by coming to this meet.

Wow, leads wire-to-wire, just dominating on the last lap. Maybe the strongest I've ever seen her.

It was run in the stadium Japan built for the 1964 OG where Billy Mills ran his great 10000m, and they are tearing it down now to replace it for the 2020 OG. It would be cool to run in it before it's gone.

I suppose Jenny will still be running then so will she be back in the new stadium in 2020?

If there are people (and there are likely not many) who reallt think that Jenny Simpson gives shitty interviews and are not just trolling, I have to wonder what those same people think of the average sound byte from an NFL defensive back or NBA center. Or boxer. Maybe these are the WWE fans who happen to surf running sites on occasion? After all this site does attract mentally challenged folks through the sheer magnetism of 'tard emitted by the Brojos.

Coburn will be just 29 years old for the 2020 Summer Olympics. Molly Huddle is 29 years right now. I wonder if Coburn will move to the 5K later in her career?

Emma has a bright future. How many of the current elite US women ran faster than 4:06 at age 22? Simpson, Cain, who else? If she stays healthy she will be great at all distances by 2020.

Jenny isn't my favorite runner, but even I have to admit that she's very articulate, insightful, and open in her interviews. As much as she rubs me the wrong way sometimes, she's one of the most well spoken runners out there.
