Nope, he's a sophomore.
I didn't say that he wasn't a hard worker. Im just saying that I think Dalquist is a hard worker and Carter obviously has some great talent. You don't run sub 9:05 in the 3200 with no hard work. Obviously he does work hard.

"Carter only has talent": You can't state it more simply than that.
Did you really just say Dalquist doesn't follow PAAVO? Yes he definitely does...a lot of schools in the DFW area do PAAVO and Keller is one of them
i'm in texas and talk to alot of kids who race.
at the HS level, no state in the country, other than maybe Louisiana, uses PEDs as much as texas.
kids get EPO from pharmacists and use it just to see how fast they can go in xc.
the better kids want their running to save their parents some money so they run for scholarships and use epo, test, amicar, you name it.
very suspicious about these times. kids in texas got alot faster over the last 10 years then they've ever been and they aren't running more or more scientifically. if anything they are lazier but they get more results, strange. come to texas, you will rarely ever see HS on tracks doing workouts in the off-sseason yet records fall everywhere.
Its kind of like watching a big time runner warm up ya know? Everyone knew that they were going to go 1st 2nd in the 3200 and it was pretty interesting to see their warmup routine or lack of one.
I'm sorry that it came out wrong the first time. I didn't mean for it to get personal. I know Carter is great. I saw him win the 4A title in cross country. I'm interested to see how much he can improve by senior year. I know he will be in low 8:50s by senior year.
I actually thought Keller was the one DFW school that does not follow paavo. But then again I am not to educated on which schools use paavo and which don't. Do you know if Carter uses paavo?
I have heard of Timou. He is one of my favorites to win state cross country next year. I personally believe it has to do with the Paavo system. It develops speed quickly and results are improved quickly. I don't know where you get this non sense of doping. Do you have ANY evidence of anybody using EPO. I do not know why you would Blaine innocent high schoolers of using EPO without any evidence.
Where do you get this 18:30 at start of summer. His PR from freshman cross country was 17:28. Unless you watch SLC practice over the summer, I don't know how you got this

Doesn't surprise me one fvckin' bit. I've long believed that HS kids were using PEDs and I'm sure it's getting more rampant. Hell, why not? They don't even test at the HS level. They have absolutely nothing to lose or so they think. If they can get access to the drugs, they are most likely going to use them.
Where are you getting this from? You have absolute no evidence of anybody using Ped's so how can you claim it?

"I actually thought Keller was the one DFW school that does not follow paavo."
Not even close to all DFW schools use PAAVO, nor is PAAVO exclusive to DFW. There are PAAVO teams from all over the state. Friendswood in the Houston area (Ryan Teel went there, 2011 and 2012 4A state XC champ, 2012 4A state 3200 and 1600 champ), Boerne Champion High School (2009 Nike Cross Nationals winners), Lewisville Hebron (Robert Domanic's school, 2013 NXN qualifiers), and of course Southlake Carroll. There are many others as well... not going to name them all. Point is, not even close to all teams in DFW use PAAVO. Only a small minority of teams in Texas use PAAVO, and they are spread all over the state. PAAVO was actually started in Indiana by Marshall Sellers.
And btw, Carter doesn't follow PAAVO. He went to a PAAVO camp though.
And it sucks that this thread has generated into a cesspool of trolls. Michaelchamp2112, don't take the bait of the obvious PED trolls. To the trolls: if you are actually deluded enough into thinking HS runners are taking PEDs, check yourself into a mental hospital immediately.
This is the step son of Eric Henry, who is one of the greatest runners the state of Texas has ever seen.

You're living in a cocoon fellow. Take the beer goggles off and open your eyes.

Should have said "as soph" --damn auto-correct
Yes I know that not all DFW teams use it. You hear it more from there because of SLC. I also know that Seven Lakes High School follows it. I still don't know if Keller follows it or not. Do you know if Keller follows Paavo?

You say you know that you know not all dfw teams use paavo, yet a few posts ago, you said you thought keller was the ONE dfw school that does not follow paavo. Troll much bro? thats like the second time you said "i never said that" when you actually did. Lrn2logic?
