depends on who is the unarmed man. I mean if it were Patrick Willis of the SF 49ers, or Jason Bourne, I'm pretty sure they could take on any animal in a fight. But if Jason Bourne did it'd be a really shaky camera and he'd end up killing it with some random object like busting its head open with a rock or something.

The Caracal needs to be in the conversation. Male Caracals are between 18 and 44 pounds. I think a 35lb Caracal would give just about any unarmed human all they could handle. I'm sure there are other midsized cats that should be included as well, my 13 lb 14 year-old house cat is a handful when he gets testy.
What a joke. In a life-or-death situation, I'd end your 13 lb cat's life in about 5 seconds, seriously. I weigh 12 times more than it. That's like me fighting a one ton animal.

Why does it have to be an unarmed human? The animals are using the weapons nature gave them to protect and fend for themselves. Why can't the human use what nature gave it: the brain. Not saying make it so lopsided as using a gun. But why can't the human grab a rock or limb and pummel the animal? Your game your rules, but it seems as if the human can't use its best asset.
