Nice work Mjk800. My 1:48.15 put me around 40-50 in the US when I ran that a few years ago. Not fast enough to be calculated on world rank. I did crack the top 1150 in the mile all-time though.
Fun Fact: A friend of mine told me that there are more people that have climbed Mt. Everest than have broken four minutes in the mile.

So what you prefer, sit around like a (probably fat) bitter old tool and cut down people. The poster provided no value to to those rankings, just stated way things were. Personally, I'd rather have run fast as an open runner, but if a masters runner is still motivated and doing well, more power to them.

I thought I was about equally good at 800, 1500 and HM, but in 2013 I ranked 14th in the world in the 800, 60th in the 1500, and about 300th in the HM.
(Just to clarify, those are women's rankings and I'm a guy)

I'm in the top 500 at 50 miles, but likely not in top 10,000 at any other distance.
I would be the fastest woman of all time over 800 and 1000 meters
Easy one for me: 5:44.5 beer mile for 18th fastest time and 16th fastest individual, a mere 13 seconds behind Nick Symmonds until he breaks the world record next year...
As for the rest of my PRs, I'd estimate I'd be lucky to crack the top 100,000.
