Jenkins to OREGON!

Dude Oregon is the best track and field team in the Country men's and Women's combined with Cross. What should he have went to Stanford and got a lot worse in his time thier?????????

Jenkins is at UO and doesn't have to sit out because he appealed the release denial his coach threw at him.

She denied both of their releases but thankfully the higher ups at NU smacked her down. He and Doyle are now eligible immediately for their new schools.

Oregon doesn't progress anybody on their team. Sure you have the all-stars like Centrowitz who was born a god, Rupp who was coached by one of the best coaches in the nation, and that's about it. It took Jordan Hasay's coaches to realize her potential in the longer distances, got hardly any better in the 1500 i.e, running slower than she did in 2012 Trials than in high school 2008 trials. I can go on and on but we all know her story.

Good move by Jenkins, and he WILL get even better in a program like Oregon can offer him. Face it, some of you are so jealous of Oregon that you can't grasp that Dunbar has improved, Pappas improved, and nearly everyone at Oregon improves greatly while they are there. On top of that, Oregon is a great athlete's best opportunity to grab a pro contract or to be on a championship team....hands down.

Trevor Dunbar Patrick Todd and Brett Johnson all regularly get on twiter expressing their regret about their decisions to transfer to Oregon.

I did Google these guys and find absolutely nothing negative being said by Dunbar or Johnson. In fact, quite the opposite by both of them. I couldn't find anything one way or the other by Todd. So, I guess this means that you are wrong, these guys (and gals) who transfer to Oregon normally get new opportunities, enjoy it, and get better.

Not really. Hasay improved after she left Oregon, she did not do well in the 10k at Oregon anymore than she did the 1500 or 5k. After moving under salazar she not only pr'd in the 10k, she destroyed her 3k pr going 8:46...does anyone really think she wasn't also much better at 1500/5k than her prs suggest when she went 8:46?

Jenkins is in Oregon now. Doyle is headed to Providence. Both confirmed.
