I disagree. Rupp in '12 could have beat both Jeilan and Tanui of '13, in my opinion. Rupp was sharp throughout the '12 outdoor season and has been less than his best throughout '13. It's not criticism of Rupp. It's pretty damn impressive to appear "off" and finish 4th and 8th in the world.

So I guess its fair to say 08 Bekele would have mopped the floor with Rupp in 12 olympics. After all, he did appear to have an "off" year and still got fourth just like rupp.

I think "A DUCK" is indeed Rupp, or someone very close to the NOP. He just has to much inside info

Yes, Bekele of '08 would have beat Rupp in '12. But c'mon, I think you can tell the difference between comparing '08 and '12 to '12 and '13. Regardless, my point was simply that Rupp in '12 was running much better than Rupp in '13. Not making excuses, I just don't think this was the same Rupp we saw a year ago. That's all. He was 4th best in the world this year, nothing wrong with it.

This is the truth. Not everyone can win. He may be running closer to his potential than most others in the 5 and 10 finals.
