Here is the definition of Anomaly, as used in the context of this post:

Something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected.

You should get a better handle on the English language before posting. Or perhaps English isn't your first language and there is another website you can be posting on.

1. Anomaly = deviation from the norm enough that's not normal, enough to arouse suspicion, but beneath the threshold of positive.

2. Perhaps not at the level of "the guy who broke the Tyson Gay news", but it is definitely above rumor.

Fool, what deviates from the normal is not illegal. For example your decision to respond on behalf of a poster who can defend himself is an anomaly but not illegal. When - WHEN WHEN WHEN??? - are all of you going to face the fact that ALL these athletes - the medal winners, the top six or seven or eight in the world, in the Olympics and World Championships - are using illegal means to compete? They are all using PEDs. Here's a (not so) new idea;

1. Legalize peds

2. Test much more regularly than they do now so you can't "time it"

3. Make all test results public record.

So athletes can choose whether or not to dope, and the public can make their own judgment about a performance based on the "correction" factor.

I don't see any other answer to the problem.

More "chemical testing and analysis" will no doubt hasten the new era of genetic doping.

So are there going to be more dopers revealed or just some runners withdrawing from games/meets? If it is the latter, how do we know they are being suspected or they do have legit reasons (such as injury)?

Genetic doping, nanotech doping, and finally robotic/bionic doping. At that point it won't be considered doping, but enhancement, as society is going to change their views somewhere along that line and likely in very short order once the shift starts to happen. Genetic doping is much further out than you suspect. There are no good vectors at this point. Perhaps the best you could do would be to remove marrow stem cells, add genes, and do a bone marrow transplant. This would be too dangerous though

Gatlin is doped up...4 years without running, overwheight, and suddenly he's running 9.9's for daily basis. And cracking 9.79 for bronze in London. No sir, I don't buy that comeback story.

And coming back to the topic, Makhloufi is supposedly training in Font-Romeu (France), in the Pyrenees, at 7.200ft of altitude. It would be interesting to know when and where he fell sick.

Supposedly he fell sick earlier this year in Ethiopia.

After his 3.52 Prefontaine mile, he suffered from the same viral effects.

According to the news...he went to Spain too. Hmmmm

I am not sure where this information is coming from, but based on everything I know there will not be anymore major positives announced prior to the WCs. There is one field event non-medal contender athlete who may be announced in the next couple of days, but that is it. There have been several athletes who were informed of anomalies and those athletes have already gotten off of the juice and/or declared injury. Btw, these are not all sprinters, field events and distance runners are in that mix. IAAF/WADA protocol is the catch you prior to or after your national championships and all of the national championships are over with.

The large number of Russian, Jamaican and North African athletes who where setting the world on fire a couple of years ago who are currently not competing is a clue to what's going on.
