Actually, no matter how you pronounce the word "forte," someone is going to say you're wrong. I pronounce it "fort," for the record. Here's an explanation:
"I could care less" instead of
"I couldn't care less"
think about it wrote:
"I could care less" instead of
"I couldn't care less"
but what if they are trying to convey that they care a little bit, but not much.
In that case they could care less, but not necessarily much less before they couldn't...

Tout d'abord je parle français couramment, du coup si tu parles français j'attends à ce que tu répondes aussi en français si t'arrives à t'en débrouiller pdv. Marrant que tu parles tellement de langues mais ne sais pas maîtriser ta langue maternelle. The prefix ir- (in-, im-, il-) can be used intensively instead of for negation. "Inflammable" does not mean that it is not flammable.

O.K. heres two which you guys are gonna jump on me for but what the heck, i'll give you the correct pronounciations anyway (irregardless)--
1. DOUR....should NOT rhyme with the word sour (as in sweet and sour). Dour should rhyme with the word sewer.
2. ERR...to make an error, ERR does not sound like AIR. ERR is pronounced ER---
Setting aside the battlements/sanctuary type of fort we have one indicating levels of amplitude and one that involves levels of aptitude. An easy way to remember is the amplitudeE one ends in E and the aptitude one... umm...err..

Add orientated to the list. It's a word. It means to face east, you know, towards the Orient. It does not mean related to.
Popular (not with me) sports show host in the east refers to soda and idea as "soder" and "ideer". I've also heard him use the phrase "take a different tact."
