I don't think she cares about records, she love to run hard and fast for wins. Just to get it straight it is not a masters record but age group record. I think the master record is 2:26XX
I just did the math, and Joanie had a better 2nd half than
she did in her 1983 2:22:42 (1:08:23! at the half).
Her 2nd half yesterday was 51.32% of total time, compared
to 52.08% in '83(which was wind-aided, though). And her
1:23:?? may have been under the W55 HalfMarathon record
(but downhill, of course)...

She ran a "world best" 30 years ago and she ran a time that's faster than the WR yesterday. I don't think anyone has ever done that before.
